About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage global payroll operations across EMEA, Americas, and APJ regions
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing for all employees, including expatriates and remote workers
  • Maintain compliance with local, national, and international payroll laws and tax regulations
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate employee data and salary information
  • Implement and maintain payroll systems and software to drive automation and process improvements
  • Manage relationships with third-party payroll providers and oversee service delivery
  • Handle payroll audits and participate in statutory reporting requirements
  • Resolve complex payroll issues and respond to employee queries
  • Monitor and report on key payroll metrics and trends to senior leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 15+ years of experience managing multi-country payroll operations, preferably in the technology sector
  • Strong understanding of global payroll regulations, compliance, and tax issues
  • Proficiency with payroll software systems such as ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, or Workday
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to collaborate across cultures
  • Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional payroll certification (such as CPP, CIPP, or equivalent)
  • Experience working in a rapidly growing, international software company
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and implement new technologies
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
