Director, Global Mobility & Immigration

Responsibilities

• Define and execute Snowflake's global mobility and immigration strategy to align with business growth and talent acquisition objectives.
• Own the strategic selection, governance, and optimization of the global vendor ecosystem, including Immigration, Tax, and Relocation Management Companies.
• Lead mobility architecture for new entity setups, corporate acquisitions, and cross-border equity compliance.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to People leadership on workforce mobility, international expansion, and emerging trends.
• Champion the use of technology, automation, AI, and data-driven insights to modernize mobility and immigration programs.
• Develop reporting and dashboards to provide visibility into program performance, costs, and workforce trends.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience leading global mobility, immigration, or international workforce programs in multinational organizations.
• Minimum of 3+ years in a second-line management role with direct oversight of global mobility or immigration strategies.
• Proven experience repositioning mobility to drive commercial outcomes like offer acceptance and retention.
• Strong understanding of global mobility tax, social security, payroll, and compliance considerations.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage technology, automation, and AI to improve operational effectiveness.
• Experience developing and scaling global programs in high-growth or complex environments.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders across People, Legal, Tax, Finance, and Talent Acquisition.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing or championing AI-enabled tools and workflows within HR or mobility environments.
• Experience within a high-growth technology company.
• Experience supporting publicly traded organizations with global workforce populations.
• Ability to influence globally distributed stakeholders across various cultures and regions.
