Director, Global Markets Corporate Banking - Insurance specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide multidimensional analysis and credit underwriting expertise for Global Markets Corporate Banking, focusing on the insurance sector.
• Manage credit risk and returns as a key member of the Global Markets portfolio management team.
• Originate and underwrite non-lending Corporate Banking products, including derivative products, securities financing, and cash products.
• Cultivate relationships with new and existing clients within the bank and non-bank financial institution sectors.
• Prepare comprehensive credit documentation, including applications, memoranda, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Oversee the workload and initiatives of Business Analysts, Analysts, and Associates regarding credit monitoring.
• Monitor client performance, industry trends, and regulatory changes to manage portfolio risk effectively.

Requirements

• Graduate degree in Finance, CFA, or MBA.
• 8-10+ years of experience in bank and non-bank financial institution due diligence and credit analysis.
• Deep expertise in the insurance sector, covering both domestic and international markets.
• Strong knowledge of derivative products and market risk concepts.
• Proficiency with trading products documentation, including ISDA/CSA and GMRA.
• Proven ability to manage complex transactions involving credit, market, operational, and legal risks.
• Excellent verbal presentation and written communication skills.
