About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the underwriting of transactions, including due diligence, financial analysis, and the structuring and negotiation of legal documentation.
- Manage the end-to-end execution of complex, cross-border trading facilities in coordination with Trading, Legal, Credit Risk, and Operations.
- Act as a key First Line of Defense and credit recommender for Global Markets transactions and facilities.
- Monitor client portfolios, industries, and regulatory changes to identify and escalate emerging risks.
- Lead negotiations on key structural terms, including security, margining frameworks, and close-out provisions.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to Associates and Analysts.
- Identify opportunities to enhance execution efficiency and develop practical solutions for complex transactions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience in banking or financial services.
- Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Deep knowledge of capital markets, trading products, and corporate banking.
- Proven expertise in portfolio management strategies and transaction execution.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.

- Industry knowledge in commodities, specifically metals, energy, agriculture, or carbon credits.
