About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the enterprise CRM strategy and roadmap to align with customer experience goals and digital data strategy.
  • Drive business ownership of CRM tools, including Veeva and Salesforce, ensuring adoption, governance, and omnichannel integration.
  • Partner with Business Units, Commercial IT, and Analytics teams to ensure CRM capabilities support unique therapeutic area needs.
  • Optimize HCP and patient engagement through advanced segmentation, next-best-action logic, and closed-loop measurement.
  • Collaborate with IT to define business requirements, manage system scalability, and oversee CRM upgrades and integrations.
  • Enhance field enablement by optimizing role-based dashboards, workflows, and usability for field representatives.
  • Monitor key CRM metrics and analyze data to provide actionable insights for strategic and operational decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in CRM strategy development or management within the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven expertise with Veeva and Salesforce at an enterprise level for configuration and optimization.
  • Experience integrating CRM with marketing automation tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Marketo.
  • Strong understanding of life sciences CRM use cases, commercial workflows, and customer lifecycle management.
  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills to collaborate across matrixed Sales, Marketing, and IT organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with rare disease therapeutic areas or specialty pharma marketing practices.
  • Experience managing complex system integrations or global Veeva and Salesforce implementations.
