Director, Global Category Wellness Procurement

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Wellness Marketing team to support brand strategies and build a best-in-class innovation pipeline.
• Lead strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization for marketing investments including media, agencies, digital, and creative services.
• Align procurement activities with category objectives, campaign timelines, and budget targets.
• Collaborate on innovation projects as a Marketing SME alongside R&D, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to drive speed to launch.
• Support strategic procurement pillars including waste reduction, growth, innovation, and social/environmental impact.
• Manage end-to-end cost optimization and supplier relationship management to drive category success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or Finance.
• 12+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience.
• Proven experience managing marketing, brand, or A&P spend categories.
• Expertise in media, creative, content, POSM, or market research services.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or Finance.
• Experience in consumer healthcare, wellness, CPG, or product development environments.
• Experience supporting global or regional category strategies across multiple functions and regions.
• Experience negotiating complex commercial contracts in partnership with Legal and business stakeholders.
• Experience with ingredient sourcing, outsourcing, or innovation/product development procurement.
