Director, Global Banking & Markets (GBM) Client Chaperone

Responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for clients throughout their relationship lifecycle for all onboarding items pre and post go-live.
• Manage the coordinated completion of onboarding items by working with Credit, KYC, Legal, and Operational Set-Up teams.
• Identify inefficiencies in the onboarding process and recommend improvements to enhance the client journey experience.
• Collaborate with GBM front office teams and senior internal stakeholders to support customer needs and deliver business goals.
• Build strong working relationships with various teams across Capital Markets and Corporate Banking.
• Manage a multinational team of professionals to ensure adherence to deadlines, targets, and escalations.
• Partner with Technology, Client Insights, and Global Data Operations to execute initiatives that streamline client processes.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of leadership and management experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience in Capital Markets, including knowledge of FICC, Equities, and Prime Services products.
• Deep understanding of derivatives products and relevant regulations.
• Experience managing internal relationships with business desks and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to lead and manage a multinational team of professionals.
• Experience working directly with external client executives.
• Bachelor of Business Administration or Finance degree.
• Strong communication, organization, and client-focus skills.
