Director - Footwear Sourcing Operations

Responsibilities

• Lead and empower Footwear Sourcing Operations teams across multiple regions to achieve excellence
• Oversee Heads of Footwear Operations and Head of Footwear Quality to ensure alignment with shared goals
• Develop and execute a sourcing strategy through actionable and impactful initiatives
• Identify, build, and nurture long-lasting, loyal, and forward-thinking partner relationships
• Continuously improve and innovate the sourcing business for long-term scalability and sustainability
• Spearhead efforts to elevate footwear manufacturing and automation to unprecedented levels
• Accelerate the transition of new innovation projects from concept to inline production
• Lead automation initiatives in collaboration with manufacturing partners
• Champion On’s commitment to sustainability in every aspect of work

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in sourcing or manufacturing of high performance products
• Experience in footwear is highly valued
• Deep experience implementing automation in production
• Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performance teams
• Experience working within complex reporting organizations
• Ability to travel frequently to Zurich, Indonesia, and China
• Fluency in English
