Director, Footwear Production

Rothy’s is a sustainable footwear and accessories brand that transforms single-use plastic bottles and ocean-bound marine plastic into signature thread. We combine 3D knitting technology and handcrafted assembly to create machine-washable, zero-waste essentials.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production operations across footwear and accessories categories
• Serve as a cross-functional partner to Brand, Planning, Sourcing, Logistics, and Distribution teams
• Collaborate with Planning and Finance on demand forecasting and inventory planning
• Monitor inventory flow, supply risk, and production commitments across all channels
• Work with sourcing teams and factory partners to manage WIP and shipment readiness
• Support capacity planning and identify opportunities to improve factory efficiencies
• Partner with sourcing and procurement on material planning and lead time management
• Lead implementation and optimization of ERP, PLM, and production management tools
• Develop dashboards, KPI scorecards, and reporting frameworks for leadership visibility
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing production team

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in global production, operations, supply chain, or manufacturing leadership
• Deep expertise in inventory planning, production execution, and logistics
• Experience partnering with sourcing teams, factories, OEMs, and global suppliers
• Proven track record of building and scaling operational systems and workflows
• Hands-on experience with ERP, PLM, or supply chain system implementations
• Strong understanding of S&OP, forecasting, and inventory management
• Experience supporting wholesale, retail, and ecommerce operational execution
• Background in footwear, apparel, or accessories
