Director Food Services

Responsibilities

• Oversee client relations and account management for assigned residence dining units
• Monitor financial performance, customer satisfaction, and employee satisfaction
• Collaborate with Executive Chefs to plan menus and promotions
• Implement and monitor health and safety regulations and procedures
• Control costs through inventory management, food rotation, and portion control
• Manage unit budgets and expenses to drive sales and reduce operating costs
• Train, develop, and coach staff for career advancement
• Develop annual marketing and business plans for assigned units
• Ensure integrity of cash flow processes and security procedures
• Act as a liaison between the client, procurement, and management teams

Requirements

• University Degree or College Diploma in hospitality management or related field
• Seven years of experience leading high-volume culinary teams
• Experience in business administration and employee management
• ServeSafe and/or FoodSafe certification
• Proficiency with computer software and POS equipment
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Contract Management food services
• Red Seal Chef status
