Director, Financial Services Partnerships & Business Development

Responsibilities

• Drive the full business development lifecycle for financial services and loyalty partnerships from prospecting through negotiation and close
• Lead partner-facing conversations and presentations with senior executives
• Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective partners across financial services and loyalty categories
• Structure deal economics, partnership frameworks, and value exchange models
• Contribute to Fanatics' financial services and loyalty partnership strategy
• Identify white space opportunities within the financial services and loyalty landscapes
• Partner with Loyalty, Product, Marketing, and Finance to ensure operational executability
• Develop compelling pitch materials, financial models, and business cases

Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or management consulting
• Meaningful exposure to financial services, loyalty, or consumer platforms
• Demonstrated track record of closing complex, high-value partnerships
• Strong understanding of the consumer financial services landscape
• Experience with loyalty program partnerships and earn/burn mechanics
• Strong financial and analytical acumen
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a sports, entertainment, e-commerce, or consumer platform environment
