About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the senior financial partner for Robinson Managed Solutions (RMS), shaping financial strategy and modeling business economics for an autonomous logistics platform.
  • Enhance and optimize global strategic planning, budgeting, and reporting processes, including the setting of financial and non-financial targets.
  • Partner with commercial leaders to model new business economics, assess freight consolidation opportunities, and support pricing decisions.
  • Build and maintain complex financial models covering unit economics, investment requirements, and long-term operating leverage.
  • Communicate the business story and KPI trends to senior leadership, the board, and investors.
  • Provide strategic direction for the FP&A function, including workforce planning, talent development, and performance management.
  • Collaborate across functions such as Sales, IT, and HR on budget approvals, ROI, and growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
  • Minimum 6 years of experience leading and managing teams with a proven track record of developing talent.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building financial models for businesses undergoing technology-driven transformations (SaaS, logistics tech, or AI-enabled models).
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to present strategic recommendations to C-suite leaders and board members.
  • Ability to explain complex finance, accounting, and reporting issues to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement or Lean Six Sigma tools and processes.
  • Familiarity with AI, automation, or platform-based business models.
