Director Financial Aid

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and daily management of the Financial Aid Office to administer federal, state, and institutional funding.
• Oversee full-service financial aid processing, including document collection, budgeting, awarding, FAFSA verification, and loan certification.
• Maintain regulatory compliance with all federal and institutional policies and procedures.
• Manage and evaluate processes to ensure efficient and accurate reporting and processing of financial aid.
• Monitor Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) for all students.
• Provide oversight and preparation for the annual Single (A-133) audit.
• Hire, train, and supervise Financial Aid staff in customer service, student outreach, and compliance.
• Coordinate financial aid functions with the Business Office and other integrated student service departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (required).
• 3-5 years of experience in higher education financial aid.
• Strong working knowledge of federal regulations and financial aid office operations.
• Proven supervisory or personnel management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex operations to administrators, faculty, and staff.
