Director, Finance

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic partner and advisor to the Maritime Sector Finance leadership team
• Manage P&L performance and drive strategic financial projects
• Lead professional staff in providing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Oversee Estimates of Completion (EACs) and analyze profit impacts
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, practices, and procedures across the division
• Analyze revenue, pricing, and forecasting to achieve margin and net profit improvements
• Manage cash and treasury matters while ensuring solid program financial performance
• Develop and present ad hoc analysis to support Program Management and Senior Management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance or a closely related field with 15+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Proficiency in SAP ERP and Hyperion HFM/Planning
• Strong understanding of government contract accounting and Earned Value Management (EVMS)
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR) and ITAR
• Detailed understanding of ASC 606 (Revenue from Contracts with Customers)
• Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work onsite in Herndon, VA (9/80 schedule)
