Director Finance- GSSC

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day global shared services operations, including high-volume finance transactions such as order entry, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and master data creation
• Manage accounting activities within India, including the monthly closing process and statutory compliance
• Partner with RTR, OTC, and PTP finance leaders to align shared services with global business strategies
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with Global Process Owners to enhance standardization, efficiency, and scalability
• Collaborate with IT to design and implement automation to streamline GSSC activities
• Establish, measure, and action targeted KPIs and cost-effective service level agreements (SLAs)
• Mentor and develop a high-performance global shared services team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACA)
• 15+ years of progressive experience in a multinational, fast-paced environment
• Minimum of 5 years in a leadership position, including experience at the senior manager level
• Proficiency in ERP systems
• Fluency in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong technical accounting knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
