Director, Fermentation & Utilities

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and organize production process activities to ensure compliance with corporate, government, and industrial standards.
• Establish long-term operational, organizational, technical, and maintenance strategies to achieve business goals.
• Oversee objectives and key performance measures while driving continuous improvement activities.
• Formulate site goals as a member of the Site Leadership team, aligning with global strategy and mission.
• Develop operating and maintenance strategies for Site Utilities and Waste & Water treatment operations.
• Lead by example regarding Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Minimum 3 years of experience directly managing people with strong leadership skills.
• In-depth knowledge of fermentation production processes and specific requirements.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to plant operations.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related technical discipline (e.g., Chemical Engineering).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a technical or engineering discipline.
