Director, External Partnerships

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute engagement strategies for high-impact collaborations with external partners to support clinical trial delivery.
• Oversee the full partnership lifecycle, from strategic planning to operational execution.
• Serve as the primary Clinical Operations contact for key partners, establishing governance and leading performance reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Legal, Medical Affairs, and Clinical Operations to align priorities.
• Establish and monitor KPIs and dashboards to track enrollment, cycle times, and data quality.
• Identify opportunities to accelerate enrollment and improve the clinical trial experience.
• Drive the integration of digital and centralized solutions to optimize study delivery.
• Monitor regulatory and operational trends to inform leadership of emerging risks and innovative engagement models.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related discipline, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Clinical Operations or related fields.
• Proven experience in partnership-focused roles.
• Strong understanding of ICHGCP and applicable local regulations.
• Strong strategic influence and persuasive communication skills.
• Analytical thinking skills with the ability to manage KPIs and translate strategy into actionable plans.
• Ability to travel domestically as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in oncology.
• Experience across both early and late-stage development programs.
• Understanding of the drug development process, including monitoring and data management.
• Ability to operate effectively in complex, high-visibility, and high-pressure environments.
