Director, Enterprise Mobile Technologies

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of engineers providing support on ServiceNow incidents and requests
• Work with carrier account teams and wireless personnel on customer service issues
• Liaise with City agencies on requests and incident resolution for carrier services
• Recommend actions for service activation, cancellation, number porting, and rate plans
• Provide managerial and technical support for troubleshooting communications issues
• Perform inventory control and update vendor management systems
• Assist with device configurations and programming for Android, iOS, and MiFi devices
• Perform MDM tasks including device provisioning and policy deployment
• Work with agency MDM admins to ensure successful device enrollment

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree with 24 credits in voice/data telecommunications or related technical field, plus 4 years of experience in telecommunications management
• Or an Associate degree with 12 credits in a related field plus 5 years of experience
• Or equivalent education and experience as defined by civil service standards
• Must have 18 months of executive, managerial, or supervisory experience in the telecommunications field
• Ability to work various shifts including weekends and nights/evenings due to 24/7 operations
