About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management and execution of Enterprise Crisis Management and Business Continuity programs.
- Maintain and evolve crisis and continuity frameworks, standards, methodologies, and tools.
- Coordinate enterprise response, recovery, and restoration activities during actual crisis or disruption events.
- Oversee the development, maintenance, and testing of business continuity and recovery plans across business units, including Investment Management, Finance, and IT.
- Plan and deliver regular crisis simulations, tabletop exercises, and business continuity tests.
- Support the design, implementation, and enhancement of the Operational Risk Management (ORM) program.
- Provide analytical support for operational risk event reporting, Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and Vendor Risk Management.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure organizational resilience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, risk, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional work experience.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in business continuity, crisis management, emergency management, or operational risk.
- Hands-on experience developing, implementing, and maintaining business continuity and crisis response programs.
- Working knowledge of industry frameworks such as BCI Good Practice Guidelines or DRII Professional Practices.
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams during incidents or major disruptions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Business continuity, crisis management, or resilience-related certifications (e.g., BCI, DRII).
