About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management and execution of Enterprise Crisis Management and Business Continuity programs
- Maintain and evolve crisis and continuity frameworks, standards, and methodologies to ensure organizational resilience
- Coordinate enterprise response, recovery, and restoration activities during actual crisis or disruption events
- Oversee the development, maintenance, and testing of business continuity plans across various business units
- Facilitate business impact analyses (BIAs), dependency mapping, and risk assessments in collaboration with IT and business partners
- Plan and deliver regular crisis simulations, tabletop exercises, and business continuity tests
- Develop and deliver crisis and continuity awareness and training programs for leaders and staff
- Provide regular reporting on program status, risks, testing outcomes, and readiness metrics to senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, risk, emergency management, or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive experience in business continuity, crisis management, or operational resilience
- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining business continuity and crisis response programs
- Working knowledge of industry frameworks such as BCI Good Practice Guidelines or DRII Professional Practices
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams during incidents or major disruptions
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across diverse organizational functions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to operate effectively under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
- Business continuity, crisis management, or resilience-related certifications (e.g., BCI, DRII)
