About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to Product and Engineering VPs on org design and people strategy
  • Lead organizational assessments and headcount planning for technical teams
  • Coach and develop engineering and product managers to improve leadership and performance
  • Partner with leaders to create career frameworks, leveling, and growth paths
  • Build talent development programs including mentorship tracks and leadership pipelines
  • Drive engagement and retention strategies tailored to technical talent
  • Utilize people analytics to identify trends in organizational health and attrition risk
  • Collaborate with recruiting on hiring strategy and candidate experience for tech roles
  • Lead change management initiatives during periods of rapid organizational growth

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or equivalent
  • Proven experience supporting Product and/or Engineering organizations
  • Deep understanding of technical organizational dynamics and engineer/PM motivation
  • Track record of partnering with senior leaders on org design and talent strategy
  • Strong data orientation and experience with people analytics
  • High EQ and experience coaching managers through complex performance situations
  • Ability to operate autonomously in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a hypergrowth tech company through significant scaling
  • Familiarity with Workday, Ashby, or similar HRIS/ATS platforms
  • Experience building people programs from scratch in a scaling organization
  • Genuine interest in AI and infrastructure technology
