About the role

Responsibilities

  • Act as lead consultant and trusted advisor to a portfolio of large corporate clients
  • Design and deliver strategic employee benefits programmes aligned to client business objectives
  • Provide expert advice across group risk (Life, Disability, Critical Illness) and private medical insurance
  • Lead renewal meetings, tender processes, and insurer negotiations to achieve optimal client outcomes
  • Interpret claims data, market trends, and financial insights to shape strategic recommendations
  • Mentor junior consultants and support the development of team capability
  • Ensure all advice meets Central Bank of Ireland regulations and Consumer Protection Code requirements

Requirements

  • Qualified Financial Adviser (QFA) and/or APA qualification (mandatory)
  • Significant experience in a client-facing health, risk, or benefits consulting role within the Irish market
  • Proven track record managing large or multinational corporate clients
  • Strong technical expertise in group risk and/or private medical insurance
  • Deep understanding of Irish regulatory and compliance frameworks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
