About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as lead consultant and trusted advisor to a portfolio of large corporate clients
- Design and deliver strategic employee benefits programmes aligned to client business objectives
- Provide expert advice across group risk (Life, Disability, Critical Illness) and private medical insurance
- Lead renewal meetings, tender processes, and insurer negotiations to achieve optimal client outcomes
- Interpret claims data, market trends, and financial insights to shape strategic recommendations
- Mentor junior consultants and support the development of team capability
- Ensure all advice meets Central Bank of Ireland regulations and Consumer Protection Code requirements
Requirements
- Qualified Financial Adviser (QFA) and/or APA qualification (mandatory)
- Significant experience in a client-facing health, risk, or benefits consulting role within the Irish market
- Proven track record managing large or multinational corporate clients
- Strong technical expertise in group risk and/or private medical insurance
- Deep understanding of Irish regulatory and compliance frameworks
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
