Director, Emerging Technology

Responsibilities

• Source and maintain a pipeline of AI companies, tools, and models that address creative and business priorities.
• Evaluate vendors using defined criteria and document findings to support decision-making.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle for AI vendors, from scouting and evaluation through pilots and scaled adoption.
• Execute structured rollouts of approved AI tools, including stakeholder coordination, training workshops, and onboarding materials.
• Lead day-to-day execution of R&D programs to accelerate innovation across content production and business operations.
• Serve as a go-to advisor on AI tools, maintaining feedback loops with users and stakeholders to inform prioritization.
• Develop executive briefings and reports to highlight progress, insights, and opportunities.

Requirements

• Hands-on AI practitioner and power user of generative AI tools for content production and business workflows.
• Expertise in prompt engineering and a conceptual understanding of how models are trained and fine-tuned.
• Experience with agentic workflows.
• Proven experience in vendor management, including assessing startups and managing scaled rollouts.
• Strong project management discipline with the ability to deliver through trust and influence.
• Experience in change management and enterprise innovation enablement.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for executive leadership.
