Director - Electronic Health Record (EHR) - Health Technology Consulting

Responsibilities

• Lead high-stakes EHR engagements across the full implementation lifecycle, including design, go-live, and post-live optimization.
• Drive revenue cycle performance by connecting technical configurations to key financial metrics like net collection rates and denial rates.
• Manage patient throughput and logistics engagements, focusing on capacity command centers, bed management, and patient flow.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives (CFO, COO, CIO/CMIO) to develop sustained, multi-workstream client relationships.
• Own account strategy and growth, including leading pursuits, proposal development, and commercial scoping.
• Contribute to practice development through the creation of delivery frameworks and the mentorship of consulting staff.

Requirements

• University Degree and a minimum of 10+ years of relevant consulting or professional work experience.
• Demonstrated success leading EHR implementations, go-lives, and stabilization efforts at a leadership level.
• Proven track record in revenue cycle management with fluency in hospital finance metrics.
• Experience in patient throughput and logistics, including capacity command centers or transfer center operations.
• Proven ability to manage client accounts and build long-term relationships with C-suite executives.
• Strong leadership judgment and the ability to advise senior executives in ambiguous environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Epic implementation and operations experience.
• Working knowledge of additional EHR platforms such as Oracle Health/Cerner or MEDITECH.
• Prior experience in professional services or advisory roles leading external client engagements.
• Experience establishing or optimizing command center operations at a multi-hospital or health-system level.
