Director, DMPK&M (GI & Inflammation)

Responsibilities

• Formulate broad, long-ranging strategic and tactical goals to support the functional area and scientific specialty at the department level.
• Act as a key advisor for nonclinical information on research or GPT project teams.
• Propose and implement strategies for compound development, engaging with key opinion leaders, clinical investigators, and SAB members.
• Plan and execute specialized studies at selected CROs to interpret and explain data from nonclinical studies.
• Manage resources and budget planning efficiently for the assigned area of focus.
• Serve as a project team leader or provide oversight to project team contributors.
• Maintain the highest standards of scientific integrity and act as a role model for peers and subordinates.

Requirements

• PhD with 10+ years of experience, MS with 16+ years of experience, or BS with 18+ years of experience in a relevant scientific discipline.
• Outstanding expertise and depth of knowledge within a specific scientific area.
• Proven ability in strategic and tactical planning.
• Demonstrated ability to stay current with scientific advancements, competitive landscapes, and new technologies.
