Director, Distribution, Logistics & Trade

Responsibilities

• Lead operational readiness and ongoing operations of U.S. 3PL to support commercial product distribution
• Manage material movement across the global supply network, including transfers between CMOs and warehouses
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments with CMOs, carriers, warehouses, and customs brokers
• Monitor logistics performance, inventory movements, and operational KPIs
• Develop and implement scalable distribution and logistics processes for supply network expansion
• Ensure all import and export activities comply with trade regulations and financial flow requirements
• Create and maintain import/export documentation for customs clearance
• Partner with Finance, Legal, and Quality to enable compliant cross-border material movements
• Identify and mitigate logistics and trade compliance risks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or trade compliance within biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare
• Demonstrated experience leading commercial launch activities in a biotech or pharmaceutical environment
• Proven experience managing 3PLs, CMOs, and external logistics partners
• Strong knowledge of international trade compliance, Incoterms, and customs processes
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
