About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead commercial and operational distribution for Universal+ and NBCU Basic Networks with traditional MVPD partners in Mexico.
- Identify distribution business opportunities and negotiate carriage, renewals, bundling, and Universal+ inclusion.
- Develop go-to-market plans to maximize distribution, subscriber growth, ARPU, and upsell opportunities.
- Manage relationships with Mexico’s MVPD groups, including telcos, cable operators, ISPs, and Pay TV groups.
- Monitor subscriber KPIs, churn, funnel conversion, and compliance.
- Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Product teams to execute deal closings, launches, and technical integrations.
- Track competitive offers from global and local streamers to inform negotiation strategies.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of experience in streaming distribution, affiliate relations, or commercial partnerships.
- Proven negotiation experience with MVPDs.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret subscriber KPIs and commercial data.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and complex timelines simultaneously in a fast-moving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience launching or managing SVOD offerings within MVPD ecosystems.
- Previous exposure to streaming services or competitive entertainment services.
- Deep understanding of Mexico’s Pay TV and broadband commercial dynamics.
- Strong analytical, commercial, and financial acumen.
