Director, Direct Merchandising Global

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the overall direct merchandising and buying strategy to drive sales, margin, and consumer engagement.
• Define product assortment and pricing across direct channels, partnering with Planning and Marketing teams.
• Manage and mentor a team of merchants, fostering a culture of accountability and a consumer-first mindset.
• Monitor key performance indicators including traffic, conversion, AOV, revenue, margin, and sell-through.
• Leverage data and market trends to identify new growth opportunities and shape seasonal product priorities.
• Balance inventory levels and demand forecasts in close collaboration with the Planning team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, merchandising, or a related field.
• 8+ years of merchandising experience, including omnichannel retail.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth across digital and physical store businesses.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance metrics into strategic insights.
• Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills to work across functional lines.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the footwear industry.
