Director – Data Sales (Voice Bot & Conversational AI)

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth for data solutions, specifically focusing on voice bot capabilities.
• Own the business P&L for the data sales unit and ensure alignment with annual operating plan targets.
• Build and nurture professional relationships with senior stakeholders and CXOs at major banks and financial institutions.
• Lead business development initiatives to acquire new clients and manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to contract closure.
• Mentor and manage a high-performing sales team, setting clear KPIs and performance expectations.
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to provide market insights that drive product enhancements for conversational AI.
• Track sales performance and prepare detailed forecasts and actionable reports for senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
• 8-10 years of experience in data sales or business development, with a significant focus on voice bot or conversational AI solutions.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in companies specializing in voice bot technologies (experience with Genesys, Avaya, or Cisco is highly preferred).
• Strong technical knowledge of SaaS platforms, databases, and data solutions.
• Proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to senior executives.
