About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and optimize cross-dock operations across the United States and Mexico.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding operations, escalations, and performance reporting (MBRs/QBRs).
  • Manage 3PL providers by establishing and enforcing operational KPIs and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks to maximize throughput and minimize transit times.
  • Oversee cross-border freight consolidation and deconsolidation to improve customs efficiency.
  • Implement standardized operating procedures and lead Lean/Six Sigma initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Manage the cross-dock operations budget and drive cost-per-unit reductions.
  • Lead and develop regional management personnel across the North American network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8–10 years of progressive leadership experience in warehousing, logistics, or cross-dock operations.
  • 3 years of experience in automotive logistics, JIT delivery, or sequenced parts operations.
  • 4 years of experience managing 3PL providers and multi-site operational networks.
  • Proven experience managing U.S.-Mexico cross-border logistics and customs processes.
  • Advanced proficiency with WMS, TMS, and supply chain analytics platforms.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 40% to support facility audits and operational reviews.
  • Professional proficiency in English; Spanish proficiency is strongly preferred.
