About the role

Responsibilities

  • Protect accounts receivable assets by investigating customer financial status and approving credit.
  • Lead and motivate the credit services team, overseeing staff training, development, and performance.
  • Establish and enforce credit policies, including dollar limits, risk management, and exposure guidelines.
  • Oversee the order-to-cash process, including consolidated invoicing and prompt collections across multiple business units.
  • Collaborate with sales, distribution, and finance teams to solve customer issues and support business needs.
  • Analyze market and economic conditions to adjust credit policies to maximize opportunity and minimize exposure.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the quote-to-cash cycle and identify opportunities for automation and technology enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate financial practices, SEC, GAAP, and other industry/government regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in professional financial management or credit roles.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of SEC, GAAP, and the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC).
  • Proficiency in ERP and accounting/financial reporting systems.
  • Ability to travel more than 10% of the time.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with dealer distribution networks.
  • Proven experience working on cross-functional leadership teams.
  • Familiarity with project management and process mapping.
