Director, Counterparty Credit

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of advanced analytical algorithms and predictive models using machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence.
• Mine and analyze large sets of structured and unstructured data to obtain actionable business insights.
• Design and construct new processes for modeling data and leverage big data technology to drive smarter business decisions.
• Collaborate with product teams and analytics professionals to optimize, refine, and scale analysis into mature solutions.
• Conduct large-scale analysis to discover patterns and trends, providing strategic recommendations to business leaders.
• Serve as a specialist resource to senior leaders and stakeholders at an enterprise-wide level.
• Apply the bank's Risk Management Framework to ensure all data-driven decisions align with risk appetite and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in data science, analytics, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in mathematics, statistics, and operations research.
• Deep expertise in machine learning and deep learning methodologies.
• Strong skills in big data technologies, data wrangling, and data preprocessing.
• Proficiency in data visualization and computational programming.
• Proven ability to manage ambiguity and solve complex, non-routine problems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
