Director Cost Management

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand cost management services for Data Centre projects in Italy
• Identify new business opportunities and strengthen market presence
• Lead, engage, and develop teams to ensure high-quality service delivery
• Oversee contract execution, compliance, and commercial control
• Manage pre- and post-contract QS activities including feasibility studies, cost estimating, and procurement
• Manage variations, cost checks, valuations, and final accounts
• Drive value engineering initiatives and negotiate commercial outcomes
• Act as a key interface with clients, consultants, and contractors

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in cost management
• Experience leading cost management for large, complex construction projects
• Proven people management experience
• Technical expertise in pre-contract, post-contract, and final account areas
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, structural, and architectural construction systems
• Proficiency in MS Office and modern cost management digital tools
• Excellent presentation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Italian construction industry
• Knowledge of Italian contractual documentation
