Director, Corporate Safety and Security

Responsibilities

• Lead and build a global Corporate Safety and Security function across DoorDash, Deliveroo, and Wolt brands
• Own the strategy, operating model, and execution of a unified global physical security program
• Build and manage five key pillars: physical security infrastructure, emergency preparedness, threat assessment, safety/compliance, and security awareness
• Establish enterprise-grade global access control programs and identity controls
• Stand up emergency preparedness at scale, including Emergency Response Teams and global incident protocols
• Develop a structured threat assessment and workplace violence prevention program
• Drive global standardization, regulatory compliance, and operational discipline across all corporate offices
• Manage multi-million dollar budgets, vendor procurement, and performance standards

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in corporate safety and security
• 7+ years of experience leading global teams and managers
• Proven track record of building or significantly transforming physical security functions from the ground up
• Extensive multinational operational experience across multiple countries and jurisdictions
• Deep understanding of physical security systems, including access control, video management, and hardware infrastructure
• Experience managing large-scale physical security vendors and contract staffing
• Fluency and appetite for using AI tools to drive automation, detection, and workflow acceleration
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders across HR, Legal, IT, and Real Estate
