About the role
Responsibilities
- Partner with Investor Relations, Finance, and Business Development to execute integrated media communications strategies for financial events, M&A announcements, and quarterly earnings.
- Provide strategic communications counsel to senior leadership regarding the positioning and framing of business and financial results.
- Drive communication activities for the CFO and other senior executives, including media relations, thought leadership, and digital campaigns.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with journalists and other critical external stakeholders.
- Mentor and champion junior staff to support their ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- College degree, ideally in economics, sciences, or communications.
- At least 7 years of professional experience in a global public company setting, specifically focused on corporate and financial communications.
- Proven ability to absorb and distill highly technical subject matter and data-driven input into clear, concise content.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Business fluency in both English and German.
- Experience in the pharma or biotech industry is considered a significant advantage.
