Director, Corporate Development & Ventures

Responsibilities

• Lead M&A and strategic investment processes end-to-end, from initial engagement through close
• Build and pressure-test valuation, structure, and strategic rationale independently
• Run focused diligence processes across technical, product, commercial, and financial dimensions
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Finance leadership to ensure strategic fit and integration
• Convert market insights from the Ventures team into actionable M&A and investment opportunities
• Build and scale corporate development playbooks to manage multiple transactions in parallel
• Mentor junior team members through direct, hands-on involvement in deals

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Venture Capital
• Proven track record of leading multiple M&A transactions end-to-end with limited oversight
• Strong analytical rigor and the ability to make decisions with incomplete information
• Ability to engage credibly with technical leaders while maintaining a clear business perspective
• Experience operating as a primary deal lead rather than a participant
• Strong judgment and accountability in high-pressure environments
