About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate target companies, investment opportunities, and partnership prospects
- Drive qualitative and quantitative analyses to define strategic fit and potential risks
- Prepare and present financial models, valuation analyses (DCF, comps, precedent transactions), and accretion/dilution scenarios to senior leadership
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional due diligence across Finance, Legal, Technology, HR, and Risk
- Partner with Business Unit Strategy, Product, and Finance leaders to build transaction business cases
- Participate in structuring, negotiating, and documenting principal commercial and legal transaction terms
- Lead pre-closing integration planning and contribute to continuous improvement of deal execution processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 6+ years of experience in equity research or M&A (investment banking, private equity, or corporate development)
- Strong capabilities in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic analysis (DCF, accretion/dilution, LBO)
- Experience leading cross-functional due diligence processes
- Experience in structuring and negotiating commercial and legal transaction terms, including LOIs and purchase agreements
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or CFA designation
- Experience working within financial services regulatory and compliance environments
- Prior experience in investment banking or private equity focused on financial services or technology transactions
