Director, Corporate Development

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate target companies, investment opportunities, and partnership prospects
• Drive qualitative and quantitative analyses to define strategic fit and potential risks
• Prepare and present financial models, valuation analyses (DCF, comps, precedent transactions), and accretion/dilution scenarios to senior leadership
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional due diligence across Finance, Legal, Technology, HR, and Risk
• Partner with Business Unit Strategy, Product, and Finance leaders to build transaction business cases
• Participate in structuring, negotiating, and documenting principal commercial and legal transaction terms
• Lead pre-closing integration planning and contribute to continuous improvement of deal execution processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 6+ years of experience in equity research or M&A (investment banking, private equity, or corporate development)
• Strong capabilities in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic analysis (DCF, accretion/dilution, LBO)
• Experience leading cross-functional due diligence processes
• Experience in structuring and negotiating commercial and legal transaction terms, including LOIs and purchase agreements

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or CFA designation
• Experience working within financial services regulatory and compliance environments
• Prior experience in investment banking or private equity focused on financial services or technology transactions
