Director - Corporate Actions & Asset Servicing

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop a team of Corporate Actions specialists, managing intraday queues and operational coverage.
• Oversee announcement capture, validation, and election execution for complex domestic and foreign equity corporate actions.
• Direct the daily processing, balancing, and allocation of domestic and foreign cash dividends and other distributions.
• Manage fixed income and repo-related activity, including principal and interest cash flow movements and bond calls.
• Maintain a strict control environment by overseeing daily audits and resolving out-of-balance breaks across global books.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to automate workflows and build next-generation data master pipelines.
• Act as the primary escalation contact for prime brokerage clients regarding complex elections and funding exceptions.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of financial services experience focused on Corporate Actions and Asset Servicing within a broker-dealer or clearing firm.
• Proven expertise in managing foreign/international corporate action events and fixed income servicing.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL or automated data tools is a plus.
• Series 7 and/or Series 99 licenses (or willingness to obtain them).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive under high pressure and tight market deadlines.
