Director, Corporate Accounting

Responsibilities

• Own the preparation and review of consolidated and standalone financial statements for European and global entities
• Ensure proper maintenance of books of accounts and rigorous controls over journal entries
• Oversee accurate valuation and reporting of balance sheet assets
• Drive timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Ensure internal control compliance in a US regulated environment
• Manage regulatory and non-regulatory finance filings for European entities, including CSSF returns
• Monitor own funds and liquidity requirements of regulated entities
• Lead coordination with statutory auditors for year-end audits
• Partner with Tax, Legal, and Compliance functions to ensure coordinated financial reporting
• Drive improvements to accounting processes, systems, and controls

Requirements

• Qualified chartered accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Experience in the private equity or asset management industry
• Familiarity with European regulations and compliance returns
• Complete knowledge of LUX GAAP and IFRS
• Experience with accounting processes and systems, ideally Workday Finance
• Strong technical finance expertise and extensive experience in similar roles

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience with technology applications such as PowerQuery or Alteryx
