About the role
Responsibilities
- Partner with Rates & FX Portfolio Managers to translate investment goals into resourcing, capital, and infrastructure plans.
- Drive business management, PM onboarding, and lifecycle management for the Macro & Fixed Income platform.
- Analyze desk P&L, risk, liquidity, funding, and balance-sheet usage to recommend actions for capital efficiency.
- Lead strategic cross-functional projects across operations, treasury, compliance, and technology.
- Design KPI dashboards and business metric reports to provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Manage the vendor lifecycle for trading and analytics platforms, including contract negotiation and SLA governance.
- Coordinate with Legal and Treasury on ISDA, CSA, and clearing mandates to support trading strategies.
Requirements
- 7-10+ years of experience in business management, COO, or a trading-related role within a buy-side or sell-side fixed income environment.
- Deep product knowledge of Rates and FX cash and derivatives (e.g., government bonds, swaps, futures, options, NDFs, forwards).
- Strong understanding of pricing, valuation, risk, funding, liquidity, and CCP margin.
- Proficiency with trading technologies, including order and execution-management systems and market-data feeds.
- Advanced analytical skills with mandatory expertise in Excel/VBA; Python, SQL, or PowerBI is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and influence stakeholders in a fast-moving market environment.
- Must be based in New York, NY.
