Director, Control System Integration

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of electrical and controls engineers through the entire project life cycle, including conception, proposal, development, integration, and start-up.
• Define complex solutions for system integration projects, manage project scheduling, and provide technical oversight.
• Develop and execute client projects with a focus on efficiency, high quality, and risk management.
• Manage client accounts and develop proposals that align with client objectives.
• Mentor and motivate the engineering team, developing training objectives and recruitment strategies.
• Coordinate project workloads and collaborate with regional offices to refine methods and procedures.
• Review design deliverables and interface with project teams to ensure alignment with objectives.

Requirements

• 9+ years of combined technical and people management experience.
• 10-15 years of experience in control system integration and managing capital projects within the industrial sector.
• Proven ability to oversee projects involving engineering, design, and programming of automated manufacturing systems.
• Technical proficiency in developing electrical schematics, PLC programming, and HMI/SCADA.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel for project requirements, including installation, start-up, and client meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineering (PE) license.
