Director Continuous Improvement

Responsibilities

• Partner with SG&A Functional Leaders to develop and deploy the Repligen Business System (RPS) deployment plans.
• Drive organizational impact by building a culture of enabled problem-solvers using RPS tools to identify and solve business problems.
• Support strategic process improvements and waste reduction projects within SG&A functions to enable profitable growth and improve customer experience.
• Facilitate project funnel coordination and lead teams in ideation sessions to prioritize key projects and manage execution.
• Collaborate with key leaders to coach them through continuous improvement methodologies, including tiered management boards, daily stand-ups, Kaizen, and Gemba walks.
• Lead teams in creating value stream maps and executing Kaizen events to implement lean tools such as standard work and error proofing.
• Drive the implementation of Digital RPS strategic initiatives to transition toward digital or hybrid lean models.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, operations, or business.
• 12+ years of experience as a Lean/Six Sigma practitioner with a hands-on track record of implementing Toyota Production System fundamentals.
• 10+ years of experience coaching and managing relationships at the Director to C-Suite level.
• Expertise in Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen, visual management, 5S, and standard work.
• Strong interpersonal and influence skills with the ability to drive cultural change in a complex, global environment.
• Proven ability to use advanced statistical analysis to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Ability to travel approximately 40% to support various sites.
