About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead key initiatives within the Compliance Fair and Responsible Banking (FRB) team to enhance governance and oversight of the Compliance Management Program (CMP).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including General Compliance Advisory & Testing, Enterprise Risk Management, Audit, and business risk offices.
  • Leverage data and analytics to inform outcomes and proactively identify opportunities for program improvement.
  • Provide strategic program leadership and drive alignment within a matrixed, highly complex regulated environment.
  • Design, develop, and manage risk management-focused project plans, adapting to changing requirements.
  • Anticipate, identify, and escalate potential problems early while proposing effective mitigations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience in compliance, risk management, legal, or audit.
  • At least 5 years of process, project, or program management experience.
  • At least 4 years of people management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree or Juris Doctor.
  • Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or Certified Enterprise Risk Professional (CERP).
  • 7+ years of experience in financial services.
  • Experience designing and implementing compliance management programs.
  • Expertise in consumer protection laws (e.g., FCRA, SCRA).
