Director, Consulting

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to pharmaceutical and life sciences clients, aligning engagement objectives with business priorities
• Lead complex engagements including commercialization strategy, launch planning, and transformation initiatives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Commercial, Medical Affairs, Market Access, R&D, and Operations
• Drive execution of client initiatives to ensure high-quality deliverables and measurable business impact
• Identify emerging industry trends and translate them into new business opportunities
• Contribute to business development efforts by expanding existing accounts and supporting new client acquisition
• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
• Manage risks, timelines, and competing priorities across multiple engagements
• Build company presence through thought leadership and industry participation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 6–8+ years of experience at a leading consulting firm
• Demonstrated experience leading engagements within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
• Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical value chain (drug development, commercialization, market access)
• Experience in strategic planning, vendor management, process design, systems implementation, or organizational change
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Proven ability to identify and convert business development opportunities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and comfort with ambiguity
