Director, Construction

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end delivery of large-scale, mission-critical data center construction builds
• Manage project schedule, budget, safety, quality, and commercial relationships with prime contractors
• Oversee the full construction lifecycle from planning and design interface to commissioning and handover
• Implement standardized processes and manage change orders across subcontractors and prime contractors
• Lead commercial and legal negotiations under AIA agreements
• Coach and manage a small team of analysts and associates
• Partner with design, operations, engineering, and finance teams to ensure seamless integration

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• 8+ years of construction management or general contracting experience on large-scale data center, industrial, or mission-critical projects
• Proven track record of running at least one large-scale build end-to-end as the accountable owner
• Working knowledge of AIA contract structures, bid processes, and change order workflows
• Familiarity with data center electrical, mechanical, and structural systems
• Proficiency in construction management tools such as Procore, MS Project, or P6
• Ability to work at active construction sites
