Director - Connected Products Business Development

Responsibilities

• Oversee the formation of strategic business partnerships and the negotiation of complex contracts
• Drive new revenue opportunities through the identification of new partnerships and emerging technologies
• Own the end-to-end partner relationship process, from initial contact through long-term development
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure successful partnership execution
• Contribute to the planning and execution of corporate strategies to increase customer base and sales
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to partnership integration and progress
• Maintain meaningful, long-term relationships with existing customers and strategic partners
• Represent the company at industry conferences, meetings, and professional events

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a Director in Corporate or Business Development
• Proven experience working within an e-commerce company environment
• Demonstrated track record of planning, executing, and closing strategic partnerships with Fortune 1,000 companies
• Experience integrating partnerships across entire organizations, including product, engineering, and marketing teams
• BA/BS degree required

• MBA degree
• Entrepreneurial spirit and creative problem-solving abilities
• Deep understanding of technology as it relates to consumer products and services
