Director, Compute Infrastructure Procurement Operations

Responsibilities

• Own key supplier relationships across compute hardware including networking, storage, and power infrastructure
• Establish sourcing strategies and playbooks for hyperscale infrastructure procurement
• Drive material savings through vendor consolidation and commercial optimization
• Operationalize international procurement operations and tax-optimized entity structures
• Lead Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) implementation and PO data remediation
• Manage finance procurement operations for domestic and international data center sites
• Build and lead the Compute Infrastructure Procurement Ops team
• Implement and oversee the lease administration function and platform

Requirements

• Deep domain knowledge of compute infrastructure (servers, GPUs/TPUs, networking, storage, cooling)
• Experience managing multi-billion dollar capital-intensive procurement portfolios
• Strong understanding of procure-to-pay processes and asset lifecycle management
• Experience operating in SOX-compliant environments
• Experience with international procurement, customs, and cross-border logistics
• Proven track record in process improvement and systems implementation
• Familiarity with data center colocation agreements

Preferred Qualifications

• 12+ years of procurement experience with 5+ years in compute infrastructure or hyperscale supply chain
• 8+ years of people management experience
• Experience at hyperscale companies like AWS, GCP, Azure, or NVIDIA
• Experience implementing ERP systems or asset lifecycle management tools
• Proficiency with procurement platforms such as Zip and Workday
• Experience using AI tools like Claude to automate workflows
