Director Compliance

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the organization’s end-to-end financial crime compliance (FCC) framework
• Define and execute enterprise-wide FCC strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory expectations
• Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks, including policies, standards, and controls
• Act as a key advisor to senior management and the Board regarding financial crime risks and emerging trends
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations including AML, CTF, Sanctions, ABC, and Fraud
• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulators, auditors, and law enforcement
• Oversee enterprise-wide risk assessments covering customer, product, geographic, and delivery channel risks
• Monitor regulatory developments and drive the timely implementation of required changes
• Ensure effective design and execution of controls across onboarding, transaction monitoring, and investigations

Requirements

• Strategic leadership experience in Financial Crime Compliance (FCC)
• Proven expertise in establishing governance frameworks and regulatory advisory
• Deep knowledge of AML, CTF, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, and Fraud regulations
• Experience overseeing enterprise-wide risk assessments and control environments
• Ability to manage relationships with regulators and senior executive stakeholders
