Director, Competitive & Strategic Insights (CSI) - Oncology

Responsibilities

• Drive global competitive and strategic insights for pre-clinical to early clinical Immunology assets to influence development and governance decisions.
• Develop R&D Competitive Intelligence (CI) and generate insights across key Immunology indications and emerging mechanisms of action.
• Execute CI plans to embed research and clinical insights across the asset portfolio using robust methodologies.
• Advise senior management on CI topics and their implications for the organization.
• Create strategic partnerships with internal stakeholders including R&D leadership, Medical Affairs, and Business Development.
• Communicate competitive intelligence in a timely, actionable, and succinct manner.
• Coordinate standard CI deliverables such as conference coverage, alerts, and landscape assessments.
• Manage CI vendors and maintain a repository of clinical knowledge to support strategic planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in health or life sciences is required.
• 7-9 years of experience in the Pharma or Biotech industry.
• 3-5 years of experience in Competitive Intelligence or market research focused on pipeline assets.
• Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of R&D processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for distilling complex information into impactful messages.
• Experience working within the US market is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PhD or PharmD) in Life Sciences or Medicine.
• Experience in Immunology clinical development or regulatory environments.
• Expertise in a broad range of CI methodologies.
• Experience managing global and regional CI vendors.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage tech-enabled CI solutions.
