Director, Communications Design

Responsibilities

• Oversee client education programs regarding communications design and marketplace trends
• Present communications design ideas and recommendations to clients in collaboration with leadership
• Manage day-to-day workflow and requirements for communications design outputs
• Lead communications design brief deployment and stakeholder engagement
• Lead ideation sessions and curate outcomes
• Develop communications architecture and ecosystem delivery across Owned, Earned, Shared, and Paid (OESP) channels
• Integrate Specialty Business Unit activities into briefs to align with business goals
• Implement communications design deliverables as part of client growth strategies

Requirements

• Experience in integrated planning within media, publishing, or communications disciplines
• Ability to delegate and oversee direct reports
• Proven ability to maintain relationships with senior clients and vendors
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Experience in new business planning and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience
• 4+ years of experience managing or developing staff
• Category or audience-specific experience
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines
